Project Name: Velas Grand Hotel Nayarit Coast
Project Type: Luxury Coastal Eco-Resort
Design Objectives: Establish a sanctuary for spiritual renewal centered on privacy, therapeutic power, and emotional belonging for discerning travelers. Through masterful spatial orchestration and atmospheric curation, achieve immersive synergy between primal nature, cultural legacy, and human-centric design – granting guests absolute environmental command and profound decompression.
Design Philosophy
Cultural Fusion: Drawing from Southeast Asian tropical heritage, the design team orchestrates material dialogues between teakwood, rattan, linen, and coastal landscapes of sand and palms. This coastal retreat balances cultural stewardship with ecological sustainability through "low-impact integration" principles, merging ancestral craftsmanship with modern environmental technologies for nature-immersive experiences.
Materiality & Craftsmanship
Outdoor furnishings utilize FSC-certified teak (humidity/insect-resistant) paired with corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy frames. Weatherproof synthetic rattan-woven seat surfaces and quick-dry waterproof cushions combine artisanal weaving techniques with modular engineering, achieving durability without compromising coastal aesthetics.
Visual Story
Smart design creates special value by making guests feel like they're in their own private escape. Instead of using obvious cultural decorations, we focus on letting travelers naturally "go green" while they enjoy upscale comforts - matching what today's thoughtful travelers really want.
